AGBU Satamian Theatre Company (Los Angeles)
The AGBU Satamian Theatre Company was founded in 1979 by Krikor Satamian and Haig Messerlian with the purpose of staging plays in English and Armenian by modern, classical, and Armenian playwrights.
Ben Manookian was the first artistic director of the company.
Since 1980, Satamian has staged 43 plays, seven one-man shows, and three operas in the Greater Los Angeles area, Orange County, Fresno, and San Francisco, as well as in Boston, New York, Montreal, and Toronto.
Baghdasar Akhpar was written by Armenian author Hagop Baronian.

Tamar Hovannesian, Krikor Satamian, Sirvart Fazlian, Frunzik (Mher Mkrtchyan), Berge Fazlian, Serop Keushgerian, and Armen Kerasimian.
Produced on DVD by Movses Panossian and Hollywood Music Center.
Performed at AGBU Ardavast Theater in Los Angeles in 1989.
